Jimmy Fallon's Game of Desks Spoofs Game of Thrones: Hilarious, Worth the Watch (Videos)

No Game of Thrones tonight, folks. This parody of the HBO series by Jimmy Fallon (Late Night with Jimmy Fallon) nearly makes up for it with a great laugh. The comic production is called Game of Desks, and the show went all out to mimic the GoT, even the opening is very similar and so funny. Looks like they had a lot of fun making this. The verbal argument over the iron desk near the

Cracking Up at Stephon Marrying Anderson Cooper on SNL (Video)

Too hilarious to miss is the video above of Saturday Night Live character Stefon's marriage to Anderson Cooper. The skit marked the last time we'll see Bill Hader regularly doing his Stefon report on Weekend Update with Seth Myers. Saturday, May 18, was Hader's last show as a cast member. Below is a 2011 clip from the David Letterman show in which Hader talks about how he came up with the

It's Maine Justice Again on SNL and I'm Still Laughing

SNL's at it again poking at us down here in New Orleans, Louisiana, with Maine Justice, where the whole world is flipped. This time with Justin Timberlake. I knew that they must have broadcasted another installation of this craziness last night when my old post about Maine Justice with Jamie Foxx got more than 200 hits in an hour sometime after midnight Central Standard Time. Whatever I said the

Evolution Of Mom Dancing (w/ Jimmy Fallon & Michelle Obama) Video

So cute and funny! Jimmy Fallon in drag with the FLOTUS in "The Evolution Of Mom Dancing." A friend shared it on Facebook, and I needed this healthy laugh.

Young Target Employee: Statia-what! Stationery?

My cousin. L.C. of Texas (pre-Katrina of New Orleans), shared this funny story on Facebook about a true experience she had in Target. I think her story comments on a technological divide between generations: The strangest thing happened to me this evening. . . . I went to Target to purchase a stationery set and had trouble finding any. So, I asked this twenty-something year-old for assistance.

Giraffe Love NOT: No Sex in the Pseudo-Wild (Video)

Giraffes' mating ritual commences at Disney World's Animal Kingdom Lodge, but doesn't get far.

I Almost Felt Guilty Laughing at Maine Justice on SNL with Jamie Foxx (Video) Happy Birthday, Jamie!

If you're looking for the March 9, 2013, episode with Justin Timberlake, try this link. The following post shows video featuring the Jamie Foxx episode of December 2012. For six months this year, Jamie Foxx worked in New Orleans starring in Quentin Tarantino's slave film Django Unchained. Perhaps it was then that he noticed all the different accents and craziness that goes on down here. On

Look! It's Samuel L. Jackson with 'Wake the F**k Up ' for Obama (NSFW)

On the heels of his narration of the parents' book, "Go the F*ck to Sleep," actor Samuel L. Jackson now narrates a nightmarish tale with a message for presidential election voters: Wake the F*ck Up!" Here is a link to the website that posted the video. The site is funded by the Jewish Council for Education & Research. The story begins: "In the silvery moonlight that bathes every town,

Jenny Moos reports on Eva Longoria, Jessica Alba Petting (Video, Humor)

I have work to do, so I should not be taking the time to post anything so sill, but Jenny Moos's report on Eva Longoria and Jessica Alba petting at the Democratic National Convention was hilarious enough to make me pause and post.

SNL's The Real Housewives of Disney (Video): ROFL!

No, I am not a cat lady. I have one cat, a dog, and some other people in my house, but I must give credit to my cat Kelly for stepping on the remote last night and changing the television station from CNN to NBC (WDSU New Orleans) because if she hadn't done so, I would have forgotten that it was Saturday night, so I would have missed last night's Saturday Night Live episode that featured the

Jimmy Kimmel Pitches Show Ideas to Oprah

In the video above with Oprah Winfrey, ABC late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel pitches show ideas to Oprah for her network, OWN. The one that makes me laugh the most is Oprah's Book Club Fight Club, but Oprah After Dark was funny, too. Earlier in her appearance on Kimmel's show, Oprah said that she would like to return to acting because portraying another character relaxes her, frees her from

President Obama Sings Al Green's 'Let's Stay Together'

And now we know that Michelle Obama had yet another reason to fall in love with President Barack Obama: The man can croon. In the video above he charms the crowd at a fundraiser in New York City on January 19, 2012, singing a line from Al Green's classic "Let's Stay Together." Al Green was in the audience, too, and so was Spike Lee and Mariah Carey.

Planking in Motion - New Orleans (Video)

This video, "Planking in Motion - New Orleans," had me laughing out loud. I think it may be funnier to me because I live here and the people's reactions and characters caught on film feel so familiar.

Worst Summer Vacation: Fallon's Twitter Hashtag

This is how my summer's going. I'm spending more time in my brick and mortar life, and so I'm not online as much. That's how I ended up watching Twitter on television instead of Twitter itself. But Jimmy Fallon's delivery of tweets under his #worstsummervacation hashtag made me laugh just the same. Big media and entertainment is really leveraging the social media thing, huh?
